About Azilect®
Azilect® (rasagiline) is a therapy for Parkinson's disease that was first launched in 2005. Azilect® (rasagiline) is available as 1mg tablets (EU and US) an MAO-B inhibitor and is given as a once daily, no titration dosing regimen. Azilect® (rasagiline) can be used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease in both early and moderate-to-advanced disease where it has been shown provide symptomatic benefits in these stages of the disease, and is generally well tolerated.
